STRONG HISTORY
Drilling, geotechnical engineering and materials testing were Hemphill’s primary businesses for nearly twenty-five years. During the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s Hemphill was involved in thousands of projects throughout the United States.
1980’s
THERE FROM THE START
When the wireless telecommunications revolution began in the 1980’s, Hemphill was there from the beginning. Our experience in drilling, geotechnical engineering and foundation construction earned us the privilege of building foundations for US Cellular’s first cell towers.
1990’s
RAPID GROWTH
In 1990, Hemphill began acquiring industrial facilities, renovating and upgrading them with heavy capacity crane-ways. At present, our facilities include 450,000 square feet of medium to heavy industrial space located near Pine and Harvard. Hemphill has operated manufacturing divisions, from these facilities, for overhead bridge cranes, structural steel, towers and air-cooled heat exchangers.
